The Vision
This contemporary Scottsdale residence showcases the perfect marriage of cutting-edge audio-visual technology with modern architectural design. The homeowners, passionate film enthusiasts, wanted a theater experience that rivaled commercial cinemas.
The open floor plan of this modern home presented unique acoustic challenges. The theater needed to deliver reference-level sound without disturbing the rest of the home, while maintaining the sleek aesthetic the homeowners loved.
The Solution
We designed a purpose-built theater room with complete acoustic isolation, featuring a 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos speaker configuration with dual subwoofers. The motorized 150" screen disappears when not in use, and the leather reclining seats include tactile bass shakers for immersive impact.
