Starpower Sales Associate
Starpower Home Entertainment Systems is seeking professional, experienced, sales associates to join our elite sales force and become a part of the most respected and celebrated team of electronics experts in America.
Overview of Position and Duties:
- Building an ongoing incremental revenue stream and referral program within the current customer base.
- Building an outbound contact program {phone and face to face} with support from the social media group. Participating in events, such as lunch and learns, that will build referral opportunities and a new customer opportunity.
- Building a “network group” of contacts to meet weekly or bi-monthly to expand selling referrals.
- Visit local technology stores to build relationships as part of the network group. Sell the “Star Companies” frequently to build opportunities and loyalty in the relationship.
- Provide the weekly pipeline and reporting information as required by management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers courteously and handle / manage customer requests promptly.
- Answer the telephone in an expedient manner.
- Register the customer when they come into the store.
- Sell Merchandise; build relationships and provide custom solutions to all clients.
- Maintain sales volume and gross profit level to budgeted levels.
- Be thoroughly conversant in the product menu Starpower carries to include features, advantages and benefits. Understand and have the ability to apply all finance promotions currently in effect.
- Follow up! Write a thank you note to every customer you contact to include potential customers.
- Determine the way the customer wants to be contacted and execute it. Understand and have a complete working knowledge of order management software to include how to process orders, quotes, credits and general merchandise management.
- Obtain necessary signatures from customer on all required documents; keep a hard copy record of all sales.
- Understand and build a strong working relationship with CI. Provide all specific required information {electronically} regarding “special order” product to purchasing in a timely manner.
- Know and maintain proper paper flow. Follow the management directions of the store MOD Mange the customer contact program to include customer quotes, open orders and the 48 hour contact calls.
- Invest in yourself with reading and selling material. Maintain a business like manner at all times.

General Qualifications:
The sales candidate will have:
- A neat, clean professional appearance.
- A High School degree as a minimum educational requirement.
- A documented successful track record in “consumer electronics” or a related field.
- A good sales personality, be computer literate, have a legible handwriting and be strong with numbers.
- Strong selling skills, good phone skills and a drive to improve his or her craft.

Graphic Designer/Visual Media Coordinator
Summary of Responsibilities
This Position is responsible for developing and maintaining the visual aspect and branding of the company. It involves all areas of visual marketing such as websites, advertisements, e-blasts, logo design, promotional materials and collateral materials. The position is reliant on support form fellow team members to provide project management for specific projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing a cohesive brand look and feel through graphic design.
- Incorporating brand look into digital media such as websites and e-blast.
- Maintenance of website and design of weekly specials
- Working with the Marketing Assistant to produce Starpower newsletter E-blasts that will be created and sent on behalf of the sales personnel every month. A custom newsletter can be created and sent for an individual sales person upon request. Starfloors newsletters will be created and sent on behalf of the TM’s every month. Kellum events and cooking demos will require an eblast invite. Corporate newsletters may be required on occasion to send to a larger audience.
- Development and design of physical collateral materials such as brochures, flyers, promotions will be needed on a frequent basis.
- Working with Digital Media Coordinator to provide collateral materials to TMs.
- Ordering of business cards upon request and distributing them to the appropriate individual.
- Research and development of new point of sales signage.
- Researching printing possibilities and keeping printers competitive on pricing and service.
- Designing of promotional items such as pens, hats, flashlights etc…
- Supporting the marketing department in all initiatives and helping contribute to the growth and quality of the company.
- Support in event planning and execution.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High skill level in design software such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Flash
- High skill level in graphic design composition
- Ability to communicate company needs to vendors
- Ability to understand and interpret some web based code such as HTML
- Thorough knowledge of the electronics, flooring, and appliance industries
- Knowledge of personal computers, relevant software, Banner, and Internetresearch
- Ability to maintain and update files and records with a high degree of accuracy
- Knowledge and practice of organizational and time management skills
- Work effectively in a team environment where information and ideas are shared.
- Willing to assist other team members as needed.
Working Environment
- Office environment that is multi-task oriented and team-driven.
- Overtime may be required as needed.

Custom Installation Lead or Helper Technician:
Dallas based retailer has an immediate opening for a full time lead or helper installation technician. We are looking for an experienced technician that posses the knowledge, expertise, ability and passion to service our high end customers.
Job Responsibility:
Interact with customers on a daily basis concerning their audio/video installation needs.
Project coordination and planning.
Install, trouble shoot, and support audio / video whole house systems and custom theaters.
Job Requirements:
At least two years experience
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of audio / video installations including:
- Structured pre-wire for whole house audio/video distribution, network (wired & wireless), satellite, keypad/touch panels, both in new construction or retro fit.
- Rack design and cable dressing.
- LCD / LED flat screen installation.
- Projector / screen installation and calibration.
- In-ceiling / in-wall speaker installation.
- Crestron, URC, RTI universal remote programming experience is a plus.
- Successfully trouble shoot and problem solving with high end A/V systems.
Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, positive attitude, high-energy individual who can multi-task well
Must be able to work Monday – Friday 8am to 6pm (some Saturdays may be required)
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with emphasis on customer service
Must have valid Texas drivers license
Must be able to pass a background check
